As a performer, you may not have thought much about the mental skills that the performing arts require. Actors, dancers, singers, and musicians can benefit from taking time to explore and develop their mental skills to enhance the way that they currently perform.


In the first session, Sara will help you identify areas of strength to further build, and any mental skills that you would benefit from developing. Ongoing work will focus on mental skill building to enhance performance.


Performers often benefit from learning how to:

  • Enhance confidence
  • Manage nerves
  • Maintain or regain focus during critical moments in performance
  • Set and accomplish goals
  • Use imagery (seeing performances in their mind) to help assist with preparation
  • Having plans for what to do if something out of the ordinary happens during performance
